Service Opportunities
Welcome Team
The Welcome Team is responsible for 3 crucial areas on Sunday mornings:
Greeting- We want to create a warm and welcoming environment where any one whether a member or fist time visitor feels a part of the family on Sunday mornings. We strategically place greeters at our front doors and aisle to help usher people in and out of our building as well as give them a sense of belonging in a new crowd.
Café’- We provide coffee and donuts for visitors and members to fellowship before and after the service.
Welcome Table- Following the service the Door Greeters will host the Welcome Table. This is where visitors have the opportunity to ask questions about our church, get information about ongoing ministries, and plug in to our church family.

Production Team
This team is for you if you have an ear for sound or love to help out with all the technical areas such as lights, PowerPoint, or video that happens behind the scenes on Sundays.

Children's Ministry
“Fix these words of mine inyour hearts and minds … Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 11:18-19
Providence Children’s Ministry desires to partner with parents to build a solid spiritual foundation for life by showing Christ’s love to each child and his/her parents; teaching biblical truths through active, interactive, challenging, andapplicable instruction; and encouraging the development of relationships withpeers and members of the Providence Church family.
We accomplish this through teaching foundational truths to our childrendirectly from Scripture from the time they are able to crawl and building onthose truths as they grow. This is not possible without the prayer and support of the men and women in our church who are willing to labor to watch over, care for and teach our children week in and week out. Please prayerfully consider what role you will take in raising up the next generation of men and women who follow Christ and work to expand His kingdom.

Pastoral Care
The Pastoral Care Team seeks to help attendees connect with Providence by providing time in each service to ask questions, make decisions, and pray with a pastoral care team member. Care team members are trained in sharing the gospel, telling about the ministry opportunities at Providence, and being available for encouragement and prayer.
To be a part of thePastoral Care Team you must be a covenant member of Providence Church and havea heart for helping others.

Meals on Wheels
Our church hasbeen truly blessed with an abundance of young families with new babies. This isa ministry to serve families with newborn babies and help with the transition.They will receive meals every other night for the first 3 weeks after theirbaby is born. If you would like to serve the moms of Providence in this way, Meals on Wheels is for you.

Connections Team
The connection ministry is a ministry designed to help welcome visitors into our church and lead them into active involvement with the hopes of future membership. Our goal is to give every visitor a name and face that they feel they can go to regarding questions about our church and all its various ministries. We do follow up work during the week with each visitors, take them gifts, and help connect them to ministries and small groups. We want people to feel at home at Providence, and our goal is to make that happen.

Internet and Graphics Team
If you have an artistic talent in graphic design, or in website design and maintenance, this team is for you. This teams designs logos, creates posters for ministries, and makes flyers for upcoming events. This team is also composed of people who have the knowledge to create and update websites.
